In this episode, I’m sharing updates from weeks one and two of my treatment for HPV-related oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma. I wanted to add a little more detail regarding initial symptoms, the diagnosis of this cancer, and the various treatment options we explored. Also just beginning to discusses the emotional and physical challenges I’ve begun faced during chemotherapy and radiation therapy, as well as the importance of support from family and friends.
And I just close out with some initial reflections on the lessons learned in this process thus far and emphasize the significance of self-acceptance and deep listening to my body and the medical team. The conversation provides an intimate look at the realities of navigating cancer treatment while maintaining hope and resilience.
